A sad day

A week or so back i was off work and took my daughter swimming in Epsom. It would have been rude not to have popped by West Park to see what the state of play was.

The state of play is demo in a big way. Bastards. Knew it was on the cards but they haven't even finished the other local ones. The first block as you drive in, which I believe was a live part for whatever they did there [bloods and testing or something] flattened. Flattening other parts starting by the front on the road that takes myou to the Day Hospital. Drove down to car park 8 and had to chuckle at their idea of a security fence. Usual point of access fenced off with chainlink but it just ends for no reason, ease of access for all so whats the point?

No sign of MC Hammer but im sure he is there somewhere walking the bowels of the hospital armed wit his plywood and hammer.

So until, and if I ever do again, return to West Park, I pay homage with some of my pics taken on previous visits. I am so frustrated that we never got to get deep inside and hope one day soon it may be easier....
